WorkDays was a DOS-based program I built for the Air National Guard in 1992.
It was a personnel-management system that calculated pay rates and
performed leave-tracking to
help manage the personnel budget. Users liked it because it was fast and
interactive, unlike the clunky Paradox-based applications of the day.
I sold it as COTS directly to the ANG, which was an interesting experience.
(Lesson learned: don't price a product so *low* that it can't be easily purchased
by a federal entity!)

Wooo, check out the text-mode logo! I think I actually wrote a special program to draw this.

We even supported daisy-wheel printers! Ahhh, innocent, innocent, silly DOS.
